About City Municipal Council :

                   The Town Municipal Council was established on 1964 and was converted as City Municipal Council on 1987 by the Govt of Karnataka.

                        ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ನಗರಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಂಬದಿಸಿದಂತ ದೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲೆ ಮಾಡಲು 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕುಂದು ಕೋರತೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಪದ್ದತಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ:08354-235792 ,ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಅಥವಾ ಪೇಪರ ಮೂಲಕ  ನೊಂದಾಯಿಸಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.  ಮತ್ತು ಜನನ ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು 1996 ರಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೋಳಿಸಿಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ABOUT BAGALKOTE:

       Bagalkote City is the district head quarter of Bagalkote district. It is located on bank of Ghataprabha river.  There are 3 major rivers namely Krishna, Ghataprabha and Malaprabha which flow in the district area.  A gigantic irrigation scheme known as Upper Krishna Project Alamatti about 35 Kms away from Bagalkote City was completed with about 15 lakhs acres of land and Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur and Bellary Districts brought under irrigation.  In this process hundreds of villages of Bagalkote district and large part of Bagalkote city are submerged in the back water of Alamatti Dam.  As a result, out of 16,600 families about 12000 families are shifted to new places.  For this Government has provided 4,500 acres of land about 6 Km away near Muchakandi village to rehabilitate old Bagalkote which is named as “Navanagar”.
